Little Fly is Federico Stocchi’s new band, a space where he surrounds himself with friends/musicians he loves. Two pianists, Yu-Ting and Lenny, are brought together to create a soundscape exploring the different sides of their instruments, grounded by the abstract and raw drumming of Gaspard.In this environment Federico finds the perfect playground to express himself, navigating the balance between solid bass lines and spontaneous moments of exploration. Their music embraces differences and contrasts, and it’s rooted in connection between the musicians, honesty and playfulness.It’s about growing up without unlearning too much, a nostalgic trip to the future.

Bandleader Benjamin Schneider's compositions interweave inner and outer landscapes – sometimes dreamy and vulnerable, sometimes dark and powerful. Combined with their energetic interplay and the spontaneity of their improvisation, the four musicians create their own lyrical to rock sound in the realm of modern jazz. With their debut album "Metamorphosis" and other new pieces, the jazz quartet "Qube" offers a diverse program.The band met during their studies and won the "Talent Award" at the Maastricht Jazz Awards in 2019.

Barbastelle is a musical hybrid, blending the timbres of strings and woodwinds with impressionistic drumming, merging written chamber jazz with the spontaneity of free improvisation. Echoing Renaissance ‘broken consorts’ and the legacy of artists like Mal Waldron and Eric Dolphy, their music evokes Debussy, Bartok, and Takemitsu’s delicate sonic calligraphy.

Sylvain Debaisieux est un saxophoniste incontournable sur la scène du jazz belge depuis plusieurs années. Il invite ce soir deux phénomènes récemment arrivés sur la scène bruxelloise : le batteur Diogo Alexandre et le contrebassiste Zé Almeida.
Ensemble ils partent à l’exploration de nouveaux territoires, navigant entre eaux calmes et limpides et flots tumultueux qui poussent les trois musiciens dans leurs retranchements. Ils décideront ensemble sur le moment de se diriger vers des îlots, éléments de matière compositionnelle ou de répertoire commun qui leur donneront un nouveau souffle pour repartir à l'aventure.

Mingus Minga Mingum is a collective of musicians coordinated by Clément Cerovecki, and fully dedicated to the music of composer and double bassist Charles Mingus. The aim is to keep this amazing repertoire alive, that shifts between swing, bebop, blues, gospel, free jazz, and classical influences, while adding a personal touch. In the vein of Duke Ellington’s big band, but with more fury, and chaos, this music, still too rarely performed, is an endless source of inspiration and fun for us.

Double Madness is a jazz quartet led by the alto saxophonists Adriana Calvo and Elly Brouckmans, with Caspar Klos on double bass and Raphaël Aurand on drums. The group is made up of musicians from Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, and France who met in Brussels while studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel and connecting through the city’s active jam session scene. The band started in December 2024 and has been performing regularly around Brussels ever since, playing at various jazz venues and clubs. From the beginning, the idea behind Double Madness was to explore the possibilities of a jazz quartet without a harmonic instrument, giving more space to the two saxophones and a different kind of role to the rhythm section.

Nacelle’s original compositions are based on afro-creole inspired rhythms, blended with meditative melodies and grooves leading to trance. The group is inspired by spiritual jazz musicians from the 1960s such as Abdullah Ibrahim, Yusef Lateef, Mal Waldron or Alice Coltrane, as well as by contemporary ones such as Naïssam Jalal, Matthew Halsall or Shabaka Hutchings.

Lara Humbert presents a tribute to Carla Bley

Pierre-Antoine Savoyat (trumpet), Fil Caporali (double bass) and Lara Humbert (piano) perform a wide range of compositions by the famous composer, pianist and arranger Carla Bley. An artist who has greatly influenced Lara's personal world, and to whom she has decided to pay tribute.
Born in California in 1936, Carla Bley was hailed early on as a pioneer of the avant-garde. She left behind an immense body of work, formidably served by the greatest improvisers of her time. A work open, in its freshness and proposals, to many inspirations.

Il existe une musique intercontinentale provenant d’un pays qui n’existe pas, un lieu où les sons peuvent s’entrecroiser et dialoguer sans bagage ni passeport. Des mélodies plutôt simples qui donnent inspiration à des moments d’improvisation parfois proches de la transe. « Il n’y a plus de saison », ou peut-être une cinquième, qui se joue des habitudes. Un trio équilatéral où se répondent le souffle généreux de la clarinettiste Aurélie Charneux, qui signe également la plupart des compositions, Simon Leleux (spécialiste du doholla et de la darbuka) et le contrebassiste Nicolas Puma, musicien protéiforme et caméléon.

La rencontre entre Ornella Noulet, Julien Plateau et Egon Wolfson donne naissance à un trio dans lequel l’improvisation est moteur, souffle et terrain de jeu. Partageant un goût profond pour une musique qui se construit dans l’instant, iels oscillent entre énergie explosive, introspection et spiritualité.
Ornella relie les univers de Julien Plateau, avec qui elle développe depuis récemment une symbiose intuitive mêlant compositions, standards et improvisations libres, et celui d’Egon, avec qui elle explore depuis 2022 une voie inspirée des duos sax/batterie des années 60–70. Le duo Noulet–Wolfson (membres du groupe OLA TUNJI) est actif sur les scènes belges, marqué par la sortie de leur premier album "summer hour "(2025),
Réunis exceptionnellement, les trois musiciens créent une musique organique où écoute, liberté et interaction dessinent des paysages sonores toujours renouvelés.

FreeTree is a Brussels based music collective that searches to plant trees in the cracks of the concrete jungle of Belgian ribbon development and other depressing places. FreeTree blends their original compositions with BPA-free improvisation and ecological sponges. This bassless trio creates surprising biodegradable textures with their uncommon instrumentation, consisting of piano, drums/ percussion and baritone, sopranino and alto saxophone. FreeTree likes to put contrast in their music that always moves somewhere without leaving a large carbon footprint.

Nawā was born of the encounter between cellist Adèle Viret (FR/BE) and singer and oudist Sarra Douik (TU/IT). Joined by Zé Almeida (PT/BE) on double bass and Pierre Hurty (FR/BE) on drums, they form a quartet whose soundscape blends poetic storytelling, jazz, ontemporary languages and Arab, North African traditions. In Arabic, Nawā means both “seed” and “intention”, sharing the spirit of the music; a core where diverse influences meet together and a shared desire to tell stories through it.
